The Wetherill Nature Preserve is managed through volunteer efforts and contributions.  Please consider a contribution to help us protect this unique place. Donations can be made by check or online using your credit card.

Donations to Wetherill are tax deductible (c.f. IRS Code, at 26 U.S.C. §170(c)(1)).

To pay by credit card, go to Town of Yarrow Point Payments. Under “Payment Type”, select “Wetherill Annual Fund” or "Wetherill Projects Fund". Note that your popup blocker must be disabled prior to filling in your name and clicking "Pay Now."

  • Wetherill Annual Fund - It requires about $35,000 (as of 2024) of annual maintenance (in addition to volunteer hours) to maintain a safe and accessible environment in the Preserve.

  • Wetherill Special Projects Fund - The Wetherill Commission has identified a need for $100,000 in special projects funding beginning in 2025 to ensure the long-term health and accessibility of the Preserve for the future.
